SJN is dedicated to building a community among those who identify themselves as working for social justice, while helping activists develop skills necessary to achieve this change. SJN is a resource center, providing the space for dialogue and cooperation, creating and maintaining links to other organizations. SJN works to keep activism alive and well at Yale, serving as an informal clearinghouse of activist groups, preserving and passing on the tools and knowledge of effective organizing from one graduating class to the next.

Here's the catch: the more supporters your group has, the higher you will show up in search results. It's not complicated. Log on and show off your Dwight Hall matches on Facebook to spread the love.     Initiated in 1968, the Dwight Hall Summer Fellowship Program is an eight-week, paid program for ten Yale undergraduates who propose projects designed to address community needs. The fellows typically work with established non-profit organizations or civic groups to craft and execute their projects. During the summer the fellows gather for weekly dinners to meet with community leaders, discuss the broader context of their work, and reflect on the progress of their proposed goals.
