Students > Apply for Dwight Hall Funding

Dear Coordinator,

First and foremost let me welcome you back to Dwight Hall for this exciting Fall 2008 semester.  I am very excited to be serving as your ExComm financial coordinator and I look forward to a successful year of projects that will truly change the lives of many.  As a means of getting started this semester I am attaching to this letter the Dwight Hall Fall 2008 Funding Resource Guide, which includes information on the Campus and Community Fund, Fund for Collaborative Efforts, Loving Kindness Fun, Social Justice Network Organizing Fund and outside sources.

Dwight Hall member groups, when in good membership standing as determined by the membership coordinator of Dwight Hall, have access to direct funding, transportation, office space and equipment (including photocopying, scanning, computer and internet access) training, publicity and staff support.  Additionally, we encourage all member groups to seek funding outside of the Hall, from sources such as the Undergraduate Organization Funding Committee (UOFC), Yale Office of New Haven and State Affairs, and outside grants.

If you should have any questions throughout the year about funding, managing your budget, financial planning or applying for grants (Dwight Hall and other), please do not hesitate to contact me with quick questions or to set up a meeting for more involved questions and concerns.  All grant applications should be placed in my mailbox, which is located in the front lobby of Dwight Hall (on your right as you enter). Specific business management questions can also be directed to Ray Bendici, the Dwight Hall Director of Finance and Administration at (203) 432-2423.

Thanks to each and every one of you for your hard work, and I look forward you getting to know each of you better throughout the year!

Sincerely,

Bradford Williams
